In 1989 Pamela Wedgwood hit the British music scene with what has become one of the most durable and successful series, Jazzin’ About.  These graded pieces, first for piano and subsequently for other instruments, were designed to provide an introduction to a number of musical styles from classical to jazz, blues to rock whilst maintaining and supporting techniques needed for thorough educational learning.

Through the steady course provided in the piano volumes, pianists can use Jazzin’ About from pre-grade 1 with Really Easy Jazzin’ About right through to grades 4/5 with the Jazzin’ About, Jazzin’ About Styles and Green Jazzin’ About.

Now Pam has come up with a new winning formula, and produced two new books for piano that take performers beyond Jazzin’ About.  Between them, After Hours Book 1 and Book 2 offer 27 new and original pieces in a variety of styles to suit any mood – sentimental ballads to cosy dinner jazz, wistful blues to cheerful, up-beat tunes – providing the perfect antidote to stress.
